What services do you provide?

Currently we provide the following services; Massages, Manicures, Pedicures, Brows, Make-up, Hair, Professional Organizing, Yoga and Personal Training.

How does GetEase work?

GetEase provides qualified expert services on demand, at your home, office, hotel or any other place in Amsterdam. We provide the best services with the aim of increasing your happiness. Use our app or widget on the website to choose from a wide range of services, pick an available date and time and complete the payment to confirm your booking!

What areas do you service?

For now, we are available in Amsterdam, but won’t be long before we are making lives easier everywhere. Stay tuned.

How do I pay?

If you have made a booking with the GetEase app or website widget, you will be automatically referred to a payment method (iDEAL, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Credit Card).

What if I need to cancel my booking?

It is possible to cancel at any time by sending an email to hello@getease.com. Please mention your booking reference number (which can be found in the confirmation email) and reason for cancellation.

A cancellation can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment time. After this point, you are required to pay the full booking price as per the terms and conditions

What if my expert does not arrive on time or cancels the booking?

We do everything we can to ensure that your expert can complete your booking, so you get your moment of happiness when you need it. However, under rare circumstances it is possible that the expert is unable to make the appointment and needs to cancel. In this case, please contact our customer service by sending an email to hello@getease.com or calling us on +31 6 25 31 56 23 (also available on WhatsApp).

I am having problems with the website.

If you experience any problems with the website or app please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service via hello@getease.com or +31 6 25 31 56 23 (also available on WhatsApp). We will do everything we can to make sure you have an easy and hassle free experience.

Can my chosen service be replaced with another service?

If you change your mind about the service you would like, please reach out to us via hello@getease.com or +31 6 25 31 56 23 (also available on WhatsApp) so we can arrange the right service for you.

Safety

GetEase is a platform for self-employed experts to offer their services to the busy urban customer in the comfort of their home. We’re committed to making the platform a safe and trusted place for everyone that uses it. Detailed below are our existing policies to maintain a  safe and healthy community. 

We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to inappropriate behaviour. Inappropriate communication or unwanted physical contact is not acceptable under any circumstances and will result in immediate removal of access from GetEase. This stands for both users of the app and self-employed experts. Our zero-tolerance stance on inappropriate behaviour helps keep the platform safe for everyone and makes sure people are using it for the right reasons.

Safety through community

We want self-employed experts to feel proud of the community they’re part of at GetEase, and for app users to book treatments at home with confidence. That’s why we undertake a series of pre-vetting measures before giving self-employed experts access to the platform. We check their:

Identity
We check that their name and likeness match their formal identification and other documents as required by law. 

Criminal background
Experts must have a clear history. 

Insurance
They must also have a valid insurance policy covering an expert indemnity (bedrijfsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering). 

Hygiene and COVID-19 safety
Experts must prove that they have the necessary personal protective equipment as required by their government’s COVID-19 guidelines for safe home working. We provide self-testing equipment for all our experts to prevent the spread of the virus. In case of symptoms (indicated according to RIVM) both the consumer and the expert must cancel the booking.

Complaints and trust 

If your complaint is about the quality of service you’ve received while using GetEase or about an expert you’ve booked through us, our team will handle it. Please inform us by sending an email to: hello@getease.com.

GetEase will report any alleged criminal activity to the police 
In the event where your complaint includes reports of potential criminal activity, we will always encourage you to report it to the police. If you don’t feel comfortable contacting the police directly, we can do so on your behalf and support you along the way. This can be done by name or anonymously. If you choose to make a named report, the police will follow-up with you directly to learn more. If you make an anonymous report, the police won’t be able to formally take further action but they will keep the information on file for future reference.

What is GetEase for Experts?

GetEase is an easy-to-use platform that helps Experts grow their business. We create a community of customers and conveniently connect them with Experts with the help of our App and website. For customers, we ease their lives by bringing quality services straight to their doorstep, anytime, anywhere. For Experts, we provide opportunities to widen your customer base; we optimize your business in one simple App.

What do I get from being a GetEase Expert?

Experts get exposed to numerous customers who need on-demand and quality professional services. We let you enjoy what you love doing while we take care of the rest. With the help of our App, we give our Experts access to personable agenda and booking and payment facilities. Our App also protects you from last-minute cancellations, making sure that your valuable time does not go to waste. The User may alter bookings up to 12 hours prior to the booking, and may cancel up till 24 hours priorly. If the User cancels your booking less than 24 hours before it was scheduled, you as an Expert will get paid the full price.

How do I Join the GetEase Community?

GetEase’s screening process includes submission of your CV and relevant certificates, an in-person or online interview, and a test booking. Once we get to know you and what you can do, you and GetEase will decide together whether we are a good match. Qualified Experts will be welcomed to the community through our simple onboarding process. We’ll make sure you have access to your GetEase profile and provide you with all the information you need to get started!

What do I need in order to qualify as a GetEase Expert?

We want to make sure that our customers get the quality services they deserve. In order to achieve this, we need our Experts to be certified professionals with at least one (1) year work experience in their related expertise. We also need our Experts to comply with the requirements of the Dutch Employment and Labor Law. You should have your KVK number or have the intention of applying for one as soon as you decide to join us. You should be able to work in the Netherlands legally with the appropriate liability insurance.

What are the working hours like?

Your working hours are up to you. With the help of your GetEase agenda, you can decide how many hours you want to work. However, we require all of our Experts to have a minimum of 8 - 16 hours of availability in the App per week. May your goal be a better work-life balance, growing your client base, or maximizing your earning potential, we’ll help you achieve it.

How often do I need to update my GetEase App agenda?

You get booked when Users see your availability in the GetEase App agenda. The more frequently you update your agenda, the easier it is for Users to book your services and plan their agenda too. The requirement is to update your agenda at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance.

Do I work with my own equipment?

Our Experts are entrepreneurs, who know the tools that are best for their craft. Hence, we expect you to have your own equipment ready. However, GetEase will provide you with some branded materials, such as towels and t-shirts. Some Expert merchandise is also available for sale or on loan, such as massage table bags. 

Can I set my own prices?

Yes, you are encouraged to! To avoid large price differences, we recommend that you set your prices within a certain range. This takes into account costs that are included in your price such as parking, transportation and other costs that come with your service. If you have more expensive equipment or longer travel times, you may have to raise your prices a bit. 

Can I set my own services?

We have existing services that we are listed in our App. If there are services that are not yet available in our App that you would like us to add, please let us know! We will check if this is aligned with our value proposition and our workflow. We value the additional services you would like to offer and we want to ensure that the App can deliver it to the Users before launching them.

How do I get bookings?

You will receive your bookings via the GetEase App. Your app notifications must always be on so that you can respond to and accept your bookings as soon as possible. We aim to respond to booking requests as soon as they are received. It’s best to respond not later than two hours after you have received the booking notification.

What if the consumer directly wants re-book with me?

It is natural to create a positive customer relationship with the User, especially when they are satisfied with the first booking! However, it is prohibited to exchange contact details with the Users. You are expected to redirect the Users to re-book via the GetEase App for future bookings, as GetEase has built the customer base for you. Any violations on direct re-bookings will be subject to dismissal of the Expert’s account in GetEase immediately, and may lead to the Expert risking a fine. How and when do I get Paid?

Our Experts sign up for a Stripe Account once they are fully onboarded. We use Stripe to collect payments from Users and to pay our Experts. Your payment will be transferred to your bank account within 5 days after finishing the service.

What if I need to cancel a booking due to health and emergency reasons?

GetEase avoids booking cancellations as much as possible, but unforeseen events and emergencies can happen, for both Users and Experts. We need to be informed of any event that can lead to cancellation as soon as possible by calling our company number +31 6 25 31 56 23. 

How can I reach GetEase for inquiries and emergencies?

Is my information secure when joining GetEase?

Absolutely! GetEase uses various security measures, protocols and checks to keep your data safe. Our App includes a messaging feature that allows you to communicate with customers without disclosing contact information. For more information on data privacy, please see our terms and conditions. 

What COVID-19 measures are in place for GetEase Experts?

GetEase values health and safety as our top priority. Experts must follow the health and safety COVID-19 guidelines set by the Dutch National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). How many hours in advance can I be booked?

A User can be booked up to three hours in advance. If you have put in availability in the App, you should keep into account that you can be booked three hours before and should be able to accept the request.

May I receive tips from a customer?

Yes, you may accept tips from the customer! This can be done in cash, by “Tikkie” or any other payment option. It is not possible to receive tips via the GetEase app.

Can I set my travel times? 

Yes you can! You can set the travel time for each service in the app. This gives you enough time to go from booking to booking!

How is my safety being guarded? 

In case of serious emergencies please call 112 immediately. In urgent situations like threats or theft, contact the police through 0900-8844. For other situations, contact GetEase through expert@getease.com or via our company number +31 6 25 31 56 23. Please keep us informed in any case, your safety comes first!
